This is the first of a few versions that I made of this, spending a few minutes tinkering the settings and then letting it render for about nine hours. This makes a charming desktop if reversed---I like a clean desktop with only some sidebar toys on the left and all those pesky icons down on the hidden tool bar, which, being a Microsoft prodect, sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Sigh. The whole thing is much like one of the few dreams I still recall from my younger year, the main difference being that the green room had a steam engine in it...yes, I am so old that I remember steam engines....
Magneto as a Sith Lord. Heck, the guy's basically a Sith already!
I actually imagine him as levitating his lightsabers, but I couldn't find a satisfying way to do that.
I liked the one by Brickophilia and decided to make something similar, I think I needed to use a different pallette of paint colours. There is a bit more sculpting on mine on the legs and lower torso, cut the cape myself from this new amazing material I found for capes called Linen Card.
PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FAVOURITE
I'm very excited for the new X-Men film, so I decided to make a group-shot. Some of this guy are inspired bt Antonio Toscano stopmotion
From left to right: Magneto, Apocalypse, Charles Xavier, Quicksilver and Jean.
What do you think?

Judge, Juror, and Executioner....
A quick semi purist figure I wanted to make. I have actually not seen wither of the Dredd films, but I do hope to watch the 2012 one soon. I am not to interested in the cheesy Silverster Stalon one.
This figure is a combination of his comic appearance and his 2012 film appearance. His helmet is a magneto helmet (Idea from The_Lego_Guy) repainted and his head is the Green Arrow head with the visor painted on. I may not like the GA head that much but the mouth is perfect for Dredd. His pauldron was painted to match the gold on the helmet. I gave him dark green hands like his comic counterpart, but I went with black rather than dark blue like the film.
What do you think? How does it look?
Here's a treat: The only part of the Silvester Stalon Dredd I have seen: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aaubVlhNK4
I know it's not that accurate to the real thing, but I think I got pretty close. I had one of these helmets, (www.brickforge.com/store/product.php?productid=18497&...) and I wasn't sure what to do with it. So, I cut the "plume pegs" off and painted it. At first I wasn't going to upload this, but I'm going to use the helmet for something else, so I thought you guys might want to see it before I changed it.
Thanks for looking! :)

We sat and watched X Men the last stand last night and my twin was impressed by Magneto's levitation powers, remembering his ability to walk through walls he wondered if he could levitate me. imagine my surprise when he could do it.

Magneto in his Plastic Prison. Inspired by X-Men: 2
I love this creation…but now I have to say “But Julius—you say that about all your creations!?,” and yes, I do say that often, but really, in all actuality—I do love them all. If I didn’t at the bare minimum like the creations I make, there’s no way in hell you’d be seeing it right now. Anyways, I do truly hope everyone likes (Dare I say love?) the creations I make, since I know they bring so much joy to myself, I can only imagine what they bring to other people. Enjoy
Unrelated note—is this an ironic title? Or one that needs to be said at all? Yes it’s plastic—but so am I?
