This is a shot of an ancient Egyptian mummy exhibited at the British Museum, London. I choose to upload this old shot now (in late Sept. 2023) because of the recent widespread reports in the news on more and more deaths amongst Greeks, both civilians and military: There is too much death all around during an excommunicated Premier’s tenure, as if the Egyptian Book of the Dead were now opened!
'Book of the Dead' is a modern term for a collection of magical spells that the Egyptians used to help them get into the afterlife. They imagined the afterlife as a kind of hazardous journey you had to make.

I love working with new people and having new faces in my photos. Her newly bought outfit from the Ren. Faire worked perfectly for this shoot!
