(Source Wikipedia)

For the second time, I bought a Leica M3, a 1955 double-stroke in excellent condition. I bought my first M camera in 2022 (a 1957 M3) and sold it in 2024. This very nice copy came up for sale and I could not resist. I will pair it with my 1952 Summitar 50mm f/2 collapsible lens (the pre-cursor to Leica's Summicron 50mm lens in production as of 1953). Hard to believe this Leica M3 is 70 years old and still works like a charm.

I hadn't seen one of these before, but a few other people on Flickr have.
It is a tractor for hauling an inflatable in-shore lifeboat on a trailer to a point where it can be launched, the distance dependant on the level of tide.
It is a Talus MB-4H made by Clayton Engineering and was designed specifically for the RNLI. It can operate in up to 1.6m of calm sea. If it gets into difficulties it can be battened down and left on the sea bed and recovered at low tide.
My new M3. This is based off of Allied Bricks' and Brickist's design. Thanks to them. A side note is that I took apart my M10 to build this. I didn't really like the size and needed the parts. Thanks for taking a look.

In order to keep bizzy I picked up my old telescope, essentially an objective of 2000mm focal distance (and a diameter of 200mm). After several sessions, and a lot of learning and calibrating of the scope, this is my temporary best result of the well known globular cluster M3.

Heres my M3 Stuart, what do you guys think.
I forgot to mention that the base and the ones on my previous posts are credit to Max
I currently have a T-18 and RE8 in the works so I should be able to post those soon:)
Above the basic M versions are the Competition variants, which are high-performance models with even more sporty dynamics. Above these are the CS versions, which are special models and are characterized by particularly innovative technical components.
EDIT: fixed the striping with better darks :)
M3 Not much I could do with the vertical striping :( Not sure why this occurred but maybe not enough dithering or funky temps as the weather was warmer (45F)

M3 Globular Cluster on the southern edge Canes Venatici is a beautiful object. This is my first image using the new QYH168C cooled CMOS camera on my 12". I currently do not have a an off-axis guider else I would have had rounder stars. This is really also my first colour photo of a glob so I am very pleased and is good testing for the camera as it is coming to Tenerife and La Palma with me this year.
