Sung by George Harrison of Beatles - died from Lung Cancer, at the age of 58 (25 Feb 1943-29 Nov 2001) He was cremated and his ashes were scattered in the Ganges & Yamuna rivers in India.

This is my mother-in-law Greta, she has been the most wonderful blessing and gift in my life... All the mother-in-law jokes and tales don't apply to her! She has been my mother, my dearest friend since I was 16 years old (36 years) She has cancer and in the last stages of it, this last week she hasn't hardly moved or gotten out of bed we were sure her time was almost up, but today she's out of bed and my daughter said she was watching a movie and eating real food. My youngest son took me to see her when I was in kentucky... I've been divorced for almsot 3 years, she still calls me her daughter and greets me with the same love, big smile, kisses and hugs. When we were talking one night she said she only had one wish... To live long enough to see her second great grandchild born... May 11, 2009 Alexandra Rae Himes came into the world to meet her great grandmother, the second part of the wish was live long enough to see my youngest son get married July 18, 2009... 54 days away... So for those of you that pray, please say a pray for this very special woman.. I would love so much for her to share in my sons special day and have the chance to give her one more hug, kiss, thank you and I love you! She is just so special and so sweet! Today's a special day for us. This is to give definite hope to anyone who has cancer, has had cancer or who knows someone with cancer. My other half was operated on 5 years ago and had his left lung removed. Here he is now! I can't keep up with him. :o)

How lucky can one girl get... This man is perfection... Kind sweet, soft spoken and so loving! I'm going to lose both of these dear people this year. A month ago he was diagnosed with lung cancer, it's already spread to both lungs, spinal cord and lymph nodes... The doctors gave him 6 to 8 months. It's so hard being 1,300 miles away from these two wonderful people.. I would like to be there for them, they have always been there for my children and me and done so much, but being the ex-wife creates problems... ! Please keep this dear man in your prayers too! He learned that he has Lung cancer, and that it has spread to his brain.
There were spots on his x-rays. The rural doctors all told him it was pnumonia. 2 or 3 times
Antibiotics do not cure cancer. Sub-standard rural health care doesn't save lives.
The Reality of your mortaity is not easy for any person.
This aspect is setting in.
For him, and for me............he is my only brother.
Addendum: My brother, Charles Kirkpatrick AGERS died on 01, FEB, 2008, at 14:14 hours pst.
With early detection, he would still be alive. AMERICA NEEDS DECENT AND ACCURATE HEALTH CARE FOR EVERYONE!!, not for just those who have money.
God, I miss him more than words can speak. I am angry that you took him.
Please pray for him!!

I have noticed many people seem to find this photo. If you are fighting cancer, DO IT AGGRESSIVLY do it WITH ALL THAT YOU'VE GOT!
Although my brother did die, the doctors only expected him to live a few months, he made it 200% past the doctors expectations. Remember to quit smoking, EAT, EAT, EAT! Even if you do not want to.
And LIVE, LIVE, LIVE!

A new tribute painting of the Patron Saint of Cancer Sufferers, Saint Peregrine by expressionist artist Stephen B. Whatley.
Saint Peregrine is also the Patron Saint of AIDS and other illnesses as well as Cancer - so may all those who meditate upon the image, created and infused with prayers, receive light, hope, protection and ultimate healing relief. Peace.
The artist - a Catholic convert since 2011 - often gets, through prayer, what he feels a 'Divine Push' to paint such Christian tributes and felt directed to paint Saint Peregrine, with prayers for healing, light and hope for those suffering cancer in his life - and worldwide.
He had a deep feeling the day of painting - 21 February - was a significant date; and later, after painting, realised it was the day in 1935 that Jesus had appeared to the Polish nun, Sister ( since 2000, Saint) Faustina, requesting she seek an artist and have a painting made depicting His Divine Mercy.
Stephen B. Whatley has painted several Divine Mercy images over the years; some of which were exhibited in his 2013 exhibition 'Paintings From Prayer' at London's Westminster Cathedral. There is a permanent walkway of his series of 30 paintings for the Tower of London, outside Tower Hill Station, London.
Peregrine Laziosi (Italy, c.1260-1345) experienced a miracle of healing in his own life, at 60, when a cancerous growth in his leg threatened amputation. The night before the amputation he spent praying before a fresco of The Crucifixion and later in a sleep state felt Jesus descend from The Cross to touch his leg. The next day the doctors found no trace of the cancer and he was pronounced cured; word spreading quickly of the power of Trust in the Lord.

I always try to throw at least two eggs out the car window at this "Navy Dock" at the Ford Plant each day - the odor emanating from this plant many days is intolerable and can be detected miles away. Many days it will burn our eyes - unfordunately so far Ford has ignored the problem as has the town.
If I get a good buy on lemons I'll save two for myself & throw a few in the ditch each day, also, along with orange peels - helps cleanse the environment, they say. I'm thinking this would also be a great place to recycle coffee grounds - will have to speak to Starbucks and see if they'd be interested in donating (they're right up the street).
We have abnormally high incidence rates of environmentally caused diseases here such as lung cancer, cystic fibrosis, mesothelioma cancer, asthma and COPD here in Kentucky, USA - I would not recommend living or staying in this area very long if one is genetically predisposed to these conditions. Many of these illnesses, such as cystic fibrosis, are easily visibly identified *without* a visit to the doctor. Know the signs and systems - you might just save the life of a loved one.
