Caught this mockingbird on this tree stump while along a trail in the woods in Hunt Valley, Maryland ... during my lunchbreak.
with mirages (Fata Morgana) over the salt flats.
The amount of salt is estimated at around ten billion tons. Approximately 25,000 tons are mined annually.
With the exception of a few water eyes, the salt crust, which is up to 30 m thick, can be driven on by buses and trucks.

Lunch Break Canary Wharf May 2010, guess it looks very different now. In two weeks time I will find out.
I'm going to spend a few days in London for work and hoping to have some time for street photo. Maybe I bump into some other street photographer, who knows?
