Blue Ringtail Damselfly (Austrolestes annulosus)
The first Blue Ringtail I have seen in the garden this Summer. And, if you look closely, you can see it is dining on a fly.
A bit later than the Kestrel and I suppose you couldn't call it lunch.,
The Hoopoe didn't stop eating!!
A long way from home and winter coming fast
We'll never know (unless he comes back next year of course) whether he made it back to the relative safely of warmer climes
