Great news about Lufthansa re-activating another 5 Airbus A340-600's from storage due a surge in business.
While the A340's are known for their gas guzzling, the secret ingredient is their first class cabins as demand for premium travel rebounds after covid. Currently the only Lufthansa aircraft offering a first class section is their 747-800's & this is not enough to meet the demand.
There is nothing quite like the sheer size of the 600's.

Its all very Lufthansa at Frankfurt, the iconic crane logo on both the aircraft & gates, nice to see such a line up for Boeing 747 jumbo's together, especially in 2022.
The distinct retro livery on "Yankee Tango" a very nice nod to earlier years.
