This was one of those rare instance in which I liked the way my camera’s LCD looked better than the view out in front of me. The long exposure, which was made well after sunset, brought out the subtle colors and smoothed the rough water. While not my typical shot, I like the way it turned out and realized once again it pays to experiment.
Large on black is nice for this one

I'm captivated by aurorae at the moment...the emissions from the sun, the earths magnetosphere, the collsion physics and the lights themselves. This was one of the best light shows I've seen. I'm always amazed by my dreams. Sometimes I awaken in the midst of dreams and they seem so real. I try to comprehend the strange plots that develop, the odd assortment of characters, and never ending scenarios of weirdness. Usually played out amid a backdrop that combines bits of reality and fantasy. Best of all are those rare moments when I become aware that I am dreaming during the actual dream. At that point I am able to guide the direction of the dream. The possibilities seem endless, at least until I awaken. Wish there was some way to record my dreams and play them back during waking hours. Imagine that!

Rendezvous
She looks down at the mysterious note clutched in her hand.
It had been delivered to her by a youth, who had said a gentleman had given it to him to deliver to her.
She had tipped him as he had unabashedly held up a palm before giving her the mysterious handwritten note he was firmly holding. Then he had darted off without further explanation as if he had other missives to deliver, which was an odd thing to think !.
She had read the note with curiosity..
Apparently she had gained a secret admirer ( the gentleman the lad had referred to?)
He had expressed a strong desire to meet her again.
Again? She though, her mind racing to the men she had briefly met that evening. Which one, there were a couple she would not mind making an acquaintance with, and there were also a few she would rather not!
In the end her curiosity had beguiled her to the point that, after first deciding not to follow the notes rather intriguing directions, She had finally changed her mind and decided to slip away unnoticed and find the rendezvous spot.

In my dreams, I can be other people. I have dreamt myself to be a different female with a different life than my own, a ten-year-old boy swimming in a lake, middle-aged male fighting zombies. To name the few people I've become in my dream. I have no control in who I become in these dreams. I merge into a new, different person in these dreams with different lives.
Often when I dream about being someone else in my dreams they are somewhat lucid. I am more able to recognizes I am dreaming so than I can control my action in my dreams. Whenever I have dreamed as someone else, I do not read into the meaning of those dreams. I enjoy most of my dream as they are entertaining or thrilling.

Struggled with this one a bit. I'm not sure how obvious it is that the book is actually floating in the air? Shame on me for picking that exact spot to shoot the picture. Can't blame anyone else but myself :)
