Lowkey snow, second version. Got a nice lens flare in here. This was somebodies front lawn, and I think they were thoroughly fascinated watching me from their livingroom while I photographed a pile of snow for 15 minutes.
Strobist: 2 - Canon 580EXII Flashes triggered by Cactus Wireless Triggers (V4's) shot through white umbrellas.
Canon 580EXII flash on camera left with a white umbrella @ 1/16 power and another 580EXII flash on camera right with a white umbrella @ 1/8 power with my Canon XTi

This little guy is no bigger than my thumb and was given to me by a server on a Carribbean cruise I took with my sister. It is a great little token to remember that trip.
Another lowkey shot but instead of using a flash to overpower the ambient light, I did a 10 second exposure and "light painted" with a small pocket flashlight. First time trying this technique!

a_curious_tale: My cat has this exact look of distain!
xenijardin: Instead of “meow,” this cat says “meh”
angeliska: @xenijardin Ha, it's true! Although, he says it in a tiny rasp, because he was born without a voice! So kind of a whisper-meh. It's really adorable.
reddirtmother: I had a cat that barked/wheezed instead if meowed.
hellothemushroom: Haha his expression is priceless!
leonalesi: so good ... I am visualizing him wearing a party hat with that face.
old_clothes: This is how my cat looks when I am naked
angeliska: @lovecraftvintage Ahahah! Oh, & p.s. yes to ring conidiophores (uh, auto text just came up with that word on its own and it was too weird to not let be.) I meant commissions!
This is from a lowkey photography class that I participated in. Thanks to Darryl Briggs (www.darrylbriggs.com/) for setting up the lights and for putting the class together.
