Dedicated to all those who offer their lives to the service of this country and it's people: family, friends, neighbors and total strangers. It is not an easy life and it is mainly a thankless endeavour. Veteran's Day is a humble way for us to thank you all for what you do...for us.

I am oppressed with a sense of the impropriety of uttering words on this occasion. If silence is ever golden, it must be here, beside the graves of fifteen thousand men, whose lives were more significant than speech, and whose death was a poem, the music of which can never be sung. With words we make promises, plight faith, praise virtue. Promises may not be kept, plighted faith may be broken, and vaunted virtue be only the cunning mask of vice. We do not know one promise these men made, one pledge they gave, one word they spoke: but we do know they summed up and perfected, by one supreme act, the highest virtues of men and citizens. For love of country they accepted death, and thus resolved all doubts, and made immortal their patriotism and their virtue. --

The words spoken by James A. Garfield at Arlington Cemetery on May 30, 1868, the first Memorial Day.

The holiday began after the Civil War, and at that time was known as “Decoration Day.” While it was originally founded to honor the soldiers who died in the Civil War, today, Memorial Day is a day to honor all of the Americans who have died in military service.

James A. Garfield was a member of the Ohio State Senate (1859–1861) and had served as a major general in the Union Army during the American Civil War, and fought in the battles of Middle Creek, Shiloh, and Chickamauga. He was first elected to Congress in 1862 to represent Ohio's 19th District and was the 20th President of the United States of America.

The American Legion Field in Section O includes the remains of veterans of World War I and World War II in plots 53 to 65 and 163 to 168. The American Legion commemorates Memorial Day here each year. This field honors the memory of World War veterans from three local chapters of the American Legion. These chapters are Chatham Post 36, Savannah Post 135, and Tybee Island Post 154.

They served for God and country to promote peace and good will on earth.

Leaving a pebble or stone on top of a tombstone signifies that someone has honored the deceased person’s memory with a visit to the grave.

WARNING! THIS ISN'T POLITICALLY CORRECT IN A SICK WORLD. TRUTH IS SPOKEN HERE!

God can do ANYTHING! Including but not limited to "righting wrongs". "WE THE PEOPLE" have spoken, now it's ALL in the hands of GOD!

Democrat's hate America and want to turn it into the old "Soviet Union" or Communist China. Not sure why they don't just move to those places that seem so wonderful in there minds and live their and see what it's actually like to live under a Communist style of Government instead of destroying America forever? Because when America no longer exist, where are you going to go when you finally realize America was the Greatest Country on Earth?

A smart man once said, "There are none so blind as those who refuse to see." Matthew Henry used this quote a few times in one of his books, but he didn't originate it. I my humble option the only one that can heal spiritual blindness is Jesus Christ, which also someone Democrat's love to mock and slur. But when people are blind and can't see, what can you expect?

It's not a bit surprising that satanic dead people would cheat in an election, that's just what they do, it's who they are. Which is why America was founded in the first place. To give Spiritually Alive people a safe free place to exist and worship Jesus Christ who is God, in peace. America was Dedicated to the furtherance of His Gospel message, to bring sight to the blind, and Life to the Spiritually dead. People don't have to remain dead, they can chose Life through Faith in Jesus Christ. The Gospel is summed up in this way by the Apostle Paul,

1 Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

3 For what I received I passed on to you as of FIRST importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

9 For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11 Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Corinthians 15)

That's the entirety of the Gospel, nothing added, nothing taken away, this is the ONLY message that has the POWER to bring LIFE to the dead. Believe and live! I pray... God bless all those of the household of FAITH!

JESUS ❤️ SAVES

10 The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:10)

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so they might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!

Mississippi's Latin motto: Virtute et armis trans "By virtue and arms"

If you have ever read my profile then you know that I travel for our troops and troop families. Taking with me whatever skills I have and using them for them. Whether it is photobuttons, Photography, or Art Works it is my way of giving back to them. This Oil was made from a photo taken by me on Jan 01, 2004. It was burr-butt cold! Up at 4:30AM and then to the Flag Raising and PT Runs. Next was a short break and then the Basic Training Grad Day Events. All of the press and photographers were huddled like sardines in a tunnel walkway trying to keep out of the cold and very heavy January winds. Later that same year I was doing this again in temps of 104* and we were all begging for water just for some relief. I remember telling my son about the temps when he called during his deployment. He assured me that I would not want to trade places with him and his unit...it was 145* hot with 70+ lbs of Battle Rattle! All I could say was Bless You All For What You Do...For Our Many Freedoms. My work has never been about me, I like it that way, it's always about them. About their families and what they do. For all they do without for their love of Freedom. And later, at night, I did what all of The Blue Stars do...tried to sleep and prayed there would never be A Knock At The Door. And then I said a quiet Amen.

Whatever he did, she didn't like it. "We need to talk. Meet me at the map."

Beijing No. 1 Middle School issued his too-big tracksuit, which serves as unisex student uniform. Her coat at first appears to match the plain blue tartan of the cheap umbrellas for sale at the Chengdu Trust-Mart, but closer examination reveals iridescent gold fleurs-de-lis peeking from the pattern. He's just chopped his straight hair, but, as many Chinese women do, she's permed curls into hers.

"...I was a cartographer of the tangles in your hair..."

The other side of this map's wall bears the logo of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and an exhortation: "higher, faster, stronger." That backdrop frames a small stage on the school's outdoor track and basketball courts. From the microphone on that bit of raised concrete, a teacher drills hundreds of dark-haired, tracksuited students, in formation, through daily exercises. The five Fuwa, Olympic mascots, decorate the fences.

This hazy sunlight amounts to a very pleasant day by Beijing standards, but you'd think he'd rather be anywhere else in China...

“About this cover – The spirit of love of country that has made us so great, has inspired me all my life. My darkest hours have come when I consider the devious elements at work in our nation today.

“Now in my 78th year I take comfort in the rebirth of patriotism that is rising all around us.” – Norman Rockwell

That quote from Rockwell is quietly powerful. At 78, he was responding to the turbulence of the early ’70s with a gesture of hope. The catalog cover, with its upward gazes and salutes, feels like yearning for unity, for shared values, for something steady amid the noise.

The year 1972 was a moment of reckoning: post-Vietnam disillusionment, Watergate looming, cultural shifts accelerating. Rockwell’s statement about “devious elements” hints at his unease, yet he chooses to frame the moment as a turning point—a “rebirth” rather than a decline.

Norman Rockwell’s significance as an artist keeps rising and falling among that rarified breed known as the “art critic.” I can’t account for that ebb and flow in Rockwell’s reputation, but maybe it has to do with his consistent and unashamed love of country that he displays so clearly in his art and in this message.

He’s often scrutinized by critics—almost like he’s too sincere for the avant-garde, too illustrative for the fine art world, and too emotionally direct for those who prize ambiguity. His “unashamed love of country” is part of a larger emotional clarity that some find unfashionable. He doesn’t wink at the viewer or hide behind abstraction. Instead, he paints what he hopes for—community, dignity, decency—even when the world around him is fraying. That kind of visual storytelling feels like a quiet act of resistance against cynicism.

And maybe that’s why his significance keeps cycling. When the cultural mood leans ironic or skeptical, Rockwell feels too earnest. But in moments of fracture or longing, his work becomes a balm—a reminder of shared ideals, however idealized.

Anytime you have 51 percent of the people acting as recipients, they will vote for the other 49 percent to enslave themselves to provide more for them. Not sustainable, but hey, everyone can feel really good about their conscience. And for some reason, they just don't seem to put together that the decision to stop working is an option at any time. This is what starts the downward spiral of a welfare state. What a depressing way to live.
