Spring is in full bloom all around us, at least in Europe, and yet again nature has awakened around us, I hope you allow yourselves to melt into the quiet, to pause and breathe, and to notice the small moments of beauty unfolding. As many of you have noticed, I am not very active on Flickr or in SL since some time. Many of the pictures I have posted recently, were not new ones, I already had them. This one however was done just a few days ago.
I try my best to stop by here on Flickr from time to time in-between my RL work and other things I got going on in my RL to look at all of your wonderful work. Keep posting and sharing your creativity and pictures.

It's been a week. Though I didn't really know you, I know the people around you and how much they love you. One thing I know for sure is how much Autumn loved her 'bucks.
I think she would've liked this quote. Life handed her lemons and she made the best of it. Friendly, caring and talented as all heck.
We will miss you Autumn - though you'll live on through our pictures and our storytelling. Nobody is ever really gone from this world, so long as we remember them. ♥

A collection of timelapses I shot during the month of March, 2015. I'm officially one year behind on uploading these.
I made this image from 10 photos. I adjusted each frame, aligning the stars then cutting out each meteor to keep the radiant in the same place. (the radiant is the point in the sky where the meteors appear to come from, it moves with the stars throughout the night because of Earths rotation) One of the shots had 2 meteors, so there are 11 meteors in total. I shot this on the night of the 10th, into the early morning. The peak is coming in the next few days. I'm hoping for clear skies, though tonight (the 11th) isn't looking too promising.
I've been waiting for this all winter. Checking the sky most nights for light pillars, which are created by ice crystals in the sky reflecting lights on the ground. I noticed some weak, short lived pillars in a timelapse I shot a little while ago, but they weren't very exciting. Then I saw some another night, but I didn't have my camera handy, and by the time I got it, they were pretty much gone. However, on this night, the pillars were plentiful, some of the best I've ever seen. This is a pano made from 3 shots.

This is a time stack made from 191, the first 19 photos were faded in using 5% increments of the layer opacity.

“Life is Beautiful” Italian movie about father & his son in concentration camp. Four years ago this beautiful time of the year I visited one of the concentration camps in Europe. It gave me chills. It have me hope. It inspired me that life is really beautiful!
Who doesn't love crepuscular rays? (sun beams) Put them over the beautiful mountains and ocean inlets of Gros Morne National Park and you've got a photographers dream. This is a still from what could possibly be my favorite timelapse I shot while I was at the park.
