Keiko sent me something lovely in the mail from Japan...these hearts which symbolize for love. The idea was to spread love around the world one letter at a time. I love receiving letters and getting hearts in the mail was even sweeter. Keiko, thank you so very much.
I actually didn't plan on dropping the heart inside the cup but it happened. ;-)

Yesterday I almost gave up on the 365. Between the work stress and the daily stress of finding a suitable idea for the 365, I seriously asked myself if it was all worth it. For now, I will continue, as I really don't like giving up on anything I start. (thanks Mom for teaching me that)
I believe the solution is to find mundane everyday objects and events and make them beautiful or at least document them. Add days where time is more on my side, giving me opportunity to go out on planned shooting and I should make it.
I was cleaning my office when I came across this cup and saucer that I had purchased a few years ago in a McDonald's in Montreal that was testing the concept of McCafe. Actually look great in the Light Box: press L or click on the photo.
Fresh ground coffee is seen from above in the shape of a heart, sitting next to it is a mug of black coffee...
