37409 "Lord Hinton" at Carlisle with the 0903 to Barrow on Monday 17th December 2018.

There were then only 8 available days left of 37 haulage on the Cumbrian coast trains, with the DMU reinforcements having arrived from Scotland.

Sadly withdrawn from service in August 2005 after running into a line of coaching stock at Rhymney station in Wales and was eventually scrapped early in 2008.
Three-quarter length portrait, face, of Lord Templemore, Dunbrody Park, Arthurstown, I have a vague feeling we may have visited Dunbrody Park a long time ago, but I am confident this is the first time we have come across Lord Templemore himself. What can you tell us about this man and his times?
The short answer (to "what about him?") was: this :)

Child in a manger born, lies in a cattle stall
Safely he’s sleeping, Mary is keeping
Close beside her baby so small.
Angels watch over him, softly their praises sing.
Voices ascending, joy never-ending
Glory be to Jesus the king.
And God in the heavens above,
Looks down with a heart full of love.
Leaving their flocks behind, Shepherds have come to find,
Jesus the Saviour, Lord of the ages
Here within the stable tonight.
And God in the heavens above,
Looks down with a heart full of love.
Wise men from far and wide, kneel at the baby’s side,
Gazing in wonder, praising the son who
Came to Earth to lay down his life.
And God in the heavens above,
Looks down with a heart full of love.
Child in a manger born, I want to know you more,
Know you are near me, love you more dearly
Jesus, my Lord.
PHOTO NOTE:
The old barn really is in Tasmania where I photographed it. Around it I have placed selections from Christmas card images to tell the story of the first Holy Night.

Presby Memorial Iris Gardens, located at the base of the 7 1/2 acre Mountainside Park, contain over 10,000 irises of approximately 1,500 varieties and produce over 100,000 blooms over the course of the season. Because of the colorful iris along the beds, this garden is also often referred to as the 'Rainbow on the Hill' by visitors.
I've been jamming on @theweeknd's "Starboy" for a while and realized I can try @Marvel's HipHop cover remakes with figs! Here's my attempt with Star-Lord!

Builtr at Crewe in 1963, it managed to run without a data panel or depot allocation sticker until the very end of its life in 1976. Seen here, (I think) at Exeter St Davids and captured by Ray Gell.
During his mission to end piracy, Lord Gaylord once battled the Lady McZep in the most epic way, in which he burnt a large part of his body. He survived, and is now determined to find the McZep, for he is working on a crafty scheme that will surprise them.
This Von Maur was originally a Lord & Taylor store... Lord & Taylor is essentially an east coast department store chain now with the exception of a few stores clustered in Chicago and closer to Detroit than Ann Arbor. There are also a few stores in western New York. Lord & Taylor once spanned much further west. This one closed in the early 1990s and switched to a regional chain called Jacobson's, based in Jackson, MI. Von Maur later ended up buying this store when Jacobson's went bankrupt in 2002. Interestingly enough, a number of the former Lord & Taylor stores in the midwest became Von Maur.
It doesn't appear that the exterior of this store was altered too greatly since its time as Lord & Taylor. It seems like Jacobson's and Von Maur didn't change it too greatly.
The Briarwood Mall opened in late 1973 with Sears, JCPenney, and Hudson's (opened 1974) as anchor stores. In the late 1970s / early 1980s Lord & Taylor was added to the mall (some sources say it was built in 1978 and others say 1980). Lord & Taylor closed in the early 1990s and was replaced with a Jacobson's department store. The Jacobson's chain went bankrupt in 2002 and closed all stores. Von Maur bought the Lord & Taylor / Jacobson's building and opened a new store in it in 2003. Hudson's also switched to the Marshall Field's name then to Macy's in the 2000s.
Today, the mall appears to be doing fairly well. It retains Von Maur (a chain that seems very picky about where they open). The mall also drew in P.F.Chang's and Bravo! restaurants as well in 2014.

A while back in the Piece Out Facebook Group (join if you haven't already, tons of fun and a great moccing comunity) Lewitaur created a challenge to create a character called Junk Lord, with an interesting twist. You should try it too!
Firstly, use a gunmetal Black Phantom helmet (found in voltix), or any other gunmetal helmet, like Fire Lord's, and attach two silver Savage Planet spikes. Then, make a large pile of assorted bricks and drop the helmet in the middle. Using only the pieces around the helmet, create Junk Lord!
The reason for this challenge is because Junk Lord's helmet houses his consciousness and travels through space, and constructs a body out of whatever materials come to hand around him on the planet he crashes on.
So go do this, as I'd love to see your responses, and i'm sure Lewis would too!

The car in which Lord French was ambushed – a soldier pointing out the bullet hole.
On 19 December 1919, the IRA attempted to assassinate the British Lord Lieutenant Lord French. The attack was carried out at Ashtown, in County Dublin. The IRA had been trying to assassinate Lord French for about three months. The IRA ambush party consisted of Mick McDonnell, Tom Kehoe, Martin Savage (Killed in the action) , Sean Tracey, Seamus Robinson, Sean Hogan, Paddy Daly (Leader), Vincent Byrne, Tom Kilkoyne, Joe Leonard, and Dan Breen.
Two Dublin Metropolitan Policemen (D/Sgt Halley and Constable O'Loughlin), the driver of the second car (McEvoy) and one of the attackers (Dan Breen) were wounded.
The LK registration must have been an import from the UK.
