Looking close... on Friday! theme : Christmas Baubles
This is a very small bauble, as you can judge looking at the spruce branch. Despite its size it shines like a star! ⭐️

The Grackles are part of the Black Bird family. The adults in our garden had quite the time feeding their three young fledglings. This one was especially demanding. After a few days of their screaming, I put the bird feeder away for a short time until they went off in search of food elsewhere. I put it back now for the regular crew that come and life is more peaceful in the back yard.
For Theme: Animal Kingdom
Perfume should be used subtle.

“One's philosophy is not best expressed in words; it is expressed in the choices one makes. In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility”
― Eleanor Roosevelt
“Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it.”
― Bruce Lee

Lagom(Swedish): The art of having just enough. Not too little, not too much- just the right amount to feel whole. A quiet celebration of balance, where contentment lives not in excess, but in the perfect middle. This is what I have been striving for in my golden years and I feel like l am content with less every year going forward. I try to apply this philosophy in the little things I do, like tending to my indoor plants. Several of my plants are blooming right now which gives color to the dreary late fall days. However, my plants are not so big and plentiful that they overwhelm our home. I have just enough to bring joy.

This is a silver figure that can sit on the edge of your auricle, a very special sort of earring 😉

From Wikipedia:
A mirror, also known as a looking glass, is an object that reflects an image. Light that bounces off a mirror will show an image of whatever is in front of it, when focused through the lens of the eye or a camera. Mirrors reverse the direction of the image in an equal yet opposite angle from which the light shines upon it. This allows the viewer to see themselves or objects behind them, or even objects that are at an angle from them but out of their field of view, such as around a corner. Natural mirrors have existed since prehistoric times, such as the surface of water, but people have been manufacturing mirrors out of a variety of materials for thousands of years, like stone, metals, and glass. In modern mirrors, metals like silver or aluminium are often used due to their high reflectivity, applied as a thin coating on glass because of its naturally smooth and very hard surface.

This is an unusual fence construction I saw at one of our campsites. The Virginia Creeper has found a crack to squeeze through so it could be in front of the fence. You don’t notice the crack it is coming through but if you check the chain link section, you will see it seems to tuck away into the metal slats, too. Someone really wanted to keep something out. This plant was determined to breakthrough. Where there is a will, there is a way. Happy Fence Friday.
