Another “Street-Picture”. After an enthusiastic experience with Annika I decided to ask some other potentials on the street. After a few “hell-no’s” this was the last one I asked. She thought it was a great idea and I was very happy because she (her name = Janine) looked like a wonderful model to me …. Captured 6 shots in 30 seconds …. picked out this one ….. and … here we go ….
looking up at St Ann's.
(I might repost this once i have a photo edit software up and running). The color is a bit off here.
The Trace Too (249, 179, 14) - Moderate
Dedicated to Michael Sembolo. Another crazy Italian-American. Best known as the guy who did "Maniac", I remember him for the soundtrack of a mostly forgotten movie that I loved long ago: Summer Lovers.
If only I could return to my 20s...

I took this photo a couple of weeks ago and quite like how it turned out apart from the lighting. Bearing that in mind I liked the relaxed feel of the photo. I was wearing a Per Una top and a skirt from the sadly missed East company.
Hopefully the Astra Zeneca vaccine will be approved in the U.K. today and we can start vaccinations in earnest and start beating the virus.

This male was walking away from me and turned for a glance in my direction. Got a couple of shots before he turned away again
Dorothy was looking for her old fondue set in the attic because her granddaughter Whitney, who was coming to stay for a few days, had never tried a fondue dinner.
As she rummaged through her old possessions and memories, she suddenly spotted a worn Stetson hat.
An odd smile ran through her face as she remembered:
"Charlie...you could barely stay on a horse but how proud and charming you looked with that hat on! Oh Charlie! I wish you were here with me."
Dorothy was about to burst into tears but just then she got a notification on her phone:
"Hi grandma! Can't wait to spend the week with you! I ♥ you! "
"Aaw little Whitney, I love you too dear" thought Dorothy as she jumped back on her feet, turned off the light and left the attic.
"Never mind the fondue, we'll have a Winter barbecue! Haha!"

Don't worry it's not as sad as it looks, Charlie will be seen, eventually, sometimes in the future...or in the past...

Looking a bit serious in this one, think its because the camera was playing up and I didn't know if the timer was on two shots or not.
Bit disappoint yet happy too because this jacket is now too big (yay) but I like it so I am slightly miffed :-(
Oh well I could always get it altered.
This outfit has made me remember that this look actually works for me and that I should wear clothes like this more often.
I will be boring you with this set but I will break it up a little and post some other pics in between.

Some reflection shots looking upwards whilst wandering around the streets of NYC. Not even sure which buildings these are but the composition and the reflections came out pretty well for a quick shot. Taken on the beast Sigma 10-20
If you are extremely short (around 20cm), you might walk under the spare bed in my home and look up and see the springs across the frame of this 100+ year old bed. Since I'm taller, I placed my camera upright on the floor and had just enough space to focus manually using my smartphone camera app as the viewfinder. I don't have a macro ring light, so this is a 30 second exposure. Not recommended for the squeamish.

I rarely see this bird these days. It used to be a common sight in our backyard.

A rather clumsy exterior hides an interior of great charm and elegance, with early 20th Century glass and a Georgian gallery. The church is open every day, entrance by the small door on the north side.
Balanced on a mud jetty, this Great Blue Heron was surveying the briny waters of Varner Harbor, on the northeast end of the Salton Sea, probably looking for a snack for lunch. Salton Sea supports significant numbers of migratory as well as resident birds, with more than 400 species. Herons and other wading and shorebirds are abundant here, even though the salinity of the sea has been rising steadily over the years.
The mountains in the distance were in a smoky haze that had drifted down from wildfires in western California.
The robin decided he needed to think a bit between his bathing and drinking. I know I post a lot of birds on the bird bath, but they are opportunity shots as it is right outside my kitchen window where I drink coffee and read the paper :)

Little trees covers around the big tree. It looked like a curtain, so when I crawled into the inside, I felt the space like a very comfortable room. via 500px ift.tt/2vfEVJt
Messing around last night after taking photos, I often just do a dozen or so close ups laying one the bed just to make sure I don't look to rough up close .
Well you can never tell can you! What with my eyesight and rose tinted glasses lol.
Spent the morning or at least an hour weeding the back yard, It was blimming cold I can tell you. Don't think am going to do photos today because i can't be bothered to put a face on. that might change later.
So what am I looking at?
