Here a painted turtle balancing on a rock. Walking around the lake looking for something to photograph, while the pebbles and grass slipped inside my Croc sandals. Carrying a camera and lens of almost six pounds in my hand is a hard task, especially if you walk for two or three hours, if you are a woman, if you are short and in addition you carry a backpack with more lenses. A little disappointed because I never find or see those beautiful birds, deer, etc... that the members of the groups post here. Maybe I need to be patient and wait for them; Of course, they won't come out when I'm walking. Patience is what we have left behind in this conflictive present... even so we cling to hope.
