First time spotting these lacewing eggs... with a day of rain, I hope they didn't get washed off.... but it would be great if the aphids got washed off... they are everywhere!!
Took this shot few weeks ago when the weather was beautiful, those colors must be even brighter now,
on the other hand many species lost their leaves,

When people think of Long Island, New York they picture long, sandy beaches. But that is the south shore of our 23 mile wide and 120 miles long island. This is North Shore which has lots of woods and can be very hilly. This photo was taken from Centerport Beach looking south.
