One of two - Osprey I think - literally circling above me. I saw one of them the other day in a tree in my back yard. and they are hanging around here. Any luck, they are a breeding pair with a nest nearby. Good thing they can't handle a 70lb dog!

After spotting 6 loads and pulling 9 empties at Eastern Fence on the Calverton Spur, the RS70 crew is seen shoving on last time on the spur to reach LIRR's mainline. I've said it once and I'll say it again, this spur is easily my favorite spot on the Island, an area that constantly makes you ask yourself "Am I really still on Long Island?"
