I was back out in our meadow this morning. No dew today but I found this lonely Lady on a small, dried weed. It was cool out and no wind. She was quite still for me to set-up and take around 30 shots for focus stacking @ 4x magnification.

Thanks go to andywelshman for a great testimonial he wrote for me.

Siblings, because, as you may notice - there are two trees in this photo :)

It's the same rape seed field as in the photo from last week

A lonely man staring into the sunset

“If you learn to really sit with loneliness and embrace it for the gift that it is…an opportunity to get to know YOU, to learn how strong you really are, to depend on no one but YOU for your happiness…you will realize that a little loneliness goes a LONG way in creating a richer, deeper, more vibrant and colorful YOU.”

Not sure if it ok to have little wishful thinking during this pretty uninteresting winter? Really need some snow and sun! Still find myself reaching in to my image vault due to lack of inspirational content here at mid west. What do you think?

Einsam

Yes, there is some work in it. There were several branches of other trees hanging next to a rivulet but I had to make this picture simply .. and stamped away everything "disturbing". It was too far before the next clear view of the subject and "Sancho" and the horse moved further and further away from the tree.

By the way, we (Kátya and I) were on the dog-walk to the Restaurant "Ponyhof" to celebrate the birthday with Mrs. Koch.
