Front. From what I've read, the main speaker is the one in the middle. The top and bottom aren't active speakers at all (?), they're "pressure drivers."
on a whim i decided to experiment with "product photography" not sure what else to call it. i've seen the fancy white box with translucent sides that you can buy to do this sort of thing professionally. i did this using the back of a poster, a roll of vellum, and my sb600 flash fired manually. it's not the best but it's my first attempt.
I took this at the north rink at logitech, but through the scratched up glass. I need to compensate for the gray-tint of the glass, but other than that, it's a decent hockey picture and can be fixed with photoshop.
Just a quick shot that I took when I was at the computer uploading all of the photos from the zoo on Father's Day.
