These are the felled trees from around the lake of Thirlmere in theLake District. There was a culling of trees there a couple of years ago :-)
The log was enlarged as a seperate layer and repositioned then a little cleaning up with clone/patch/healing tools. Levels adjusted, a little bit of saturation and drop shaddow frame added.
