Created in Illustrator, totally vector. The two fonts are Mobile Infantry and Airstream. I was looking at some old airline logos from the 30s for inspiration. They all had a handpainted look and mixed multiple inappropriate (by today's standards) fonts. I think this captures both a modern feel and a retro feel.
This is for my line of dieselpunk airplanes, which are part of a post-WW2 fictional timeline in which South and Central America are world players.
Comments and criticisms definitely desired, as I haven't done any heavy Illustrator work in awhile.

Main functions:
Outriggers are extended
Outriggers are deployed
Fence is spread
Three chassis are placed in the right angle, thus:
Truck Cabin is lifted
Log Cabin is lifted
Missile is lifted and ready to launch.
Front wheels can steer
All doors can be open
Hood can be open to reveal the engine.
Log Cabin has interior, but that is for another MOD
Other features on Truck:
Real Proportions from Autocar blueprints
Chromed headlights
Bar and support headlights at the roof.
Hero's favorite plant and additional luggage is on the roof too.
Three grills on the hood
XL rear view mirrors
Light blue glasses all around the cabin
Cabin is curved, from 6 studs at the front of the hood, 10 at the back of the hood, 12 th the start of the cabin, and 14 at the back of the cabin.
Doors and hood can be opened.
Front axle is steered
Other features on Log Cabin:
Made entirely from Log bricks
On the sides are Tan supports
Detailed interior (removed for the weight issues), but kept for a next mod of this model :)
Red roof which has some bad, molded "tiles" in tan, gray and black color
Three different roofs
Cool windows with flowers.
Most of the roof is covered with plants that Sane loves!
Stone built chimney which connects to the stove.
Top Observation tiny half room.
Put another log on the fire… A nice way of stacking, isn’t it?

When I was small I lived near the Ottawa river and there were still log drives on the river - floating logs from the forest to the E. B. Eddy Pulp Mill. This print is my rendition of the patterns those logs made in the water. 8x10 print

Cypress Log Cabin
The Cypress Log Cabin was originally from the Homes of Tomorrow Exhibition during the 1933 Century of Progress World's Fair in Chicago. Five of these houses were moved to Beverly Shores, Indiana in the winter of 1935.
The Beverly Shores--Century of Progress Architectural District was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 30th, 1986.
On days like this when the heat is in the 90s, I'm thankful that I didn't live back in the days without air conditioning. (Not to mention having to wear those heavy dresses.)

A lovely log fire in our room at the Bed and Breakfast we stayed at in the south of Holland. it made for a very cosy evening when it was snowing outside and the night time temperature was expected to be -12 celsius.

Influence: Inspired by the log cabin work of Kuroha Shizuko, my fascination for log cabin and its variations, combined with beautiful Japanese fabrics, made me choose these 25 blocks to wish the IPS a Happy Birthday.
Technique: Machine pieced and quilted. Cotton.

A glimpse into Yesteryear.
Try to imagine living in the Colorado Mountains 130 years ago, Cooking on a Wood Stove, No Running Water, and an outdoor Bathroom (AKA an Outhouse). Add 6-14 feet of snow in Winter time with a Horse and/or Mule for your only transportation.

Amazing! Somebody resides in a log cabin in downtown Santa Barbara! I never thought I'd see such a thing right in the middle of downtown!
