I think this is a small vintage cupboard lock. I lucked out a little as I nearly used this object for last weeks theme as lock and key!

With a rainy day and time on my hands I've been playing around with editing effects, and debating between this and a black and white version that showed spider webs ono the wall behind the door. However, i decided to get brave and go all out with pop colour.

An old lock keeper's cottage stands alongside the Caledonian Canal near Aberchalder in the Scottish Highlands.

We are finally in full-thaw mode now. Four straight days of warm temperatures; this photo is already obsolete. This is how winter ended.

Lock 34 of the Rochdale Canal, also known as Warland Lower Lock, is a Grade II listed structure located in the parish of Todmorden, West Yorkshire. It is part of the "Warland Locks" pair, alongside Warland Upper Lock (Lock 35), situated near the Yorkshire end of the canal's summit pound.

These springbok locking horns were photographed in the wild in the Kgalagadi.
