In Southwest Chief, the coach cars have two floors. The first floor is mostly taken up by luggage (both the luggage racks and the carry-ons) and toilets. The few passenger spaces are usually reserved for people with disabilities, the elderly and anybody else who would have hard time climbing the stairs. Those seats have to be reserved in advance. The rest of the passengers sit on the second level. Unlike the cars used for the Carl Sandburg route, this car doesn't have power outlets, but it does have curtains on the windows, and the seats are designed to be more comfortable for sleeping. The crew even provides pillows.

Last night we held our Twocann Tuesdays Christmas Social. Beforehand, I'd hoped to do some night photography nearby but as soon as I set my tripod up, the heavens opened. I managed to kind of rescue two shots, one which I'd hoped to use yesterday for my 365. I'm glad that once again I used my standby shot for yesterdays'. I spent my morning editing the party shots and didn't get around to putting my 'fineries' away till lunchtime.
