This is were the famous adventures of Don Quixote started, the attack on the windmills that he believes to be ferocious giants.
One curiosity is that each windmill has it’s one name, and the same happens with it’s windows.
I was taking photos of the windmills of Consuegra, when suddenly these cloud formation formed and start dropping some large drops of scarce rain, although it was very hot, I run to another position to try to capture the forming rainbow which didn't form completely because the sun was mostly gone in the opposing horizon.

Probably the oldest and most iconic monument of Lisbon, the São Jorge Castle is a historic landmark of the Portuguese Nation that was the scene of many battles for the independence of Portugal.
Today this monument is a wonderful place to pass an afternoon and has fantastic views over Lisbon.
Built in 1904 for Samuel P. Atkinson's monument engraving business, the two-part commercial block Atkinson Monument Building is an example of the Richardsonian Romanesque style of architecture. The local landmark building features rusticated stone, very fitting for what once was the home of a stonecutter and monument company. There are rounded arch windows at the second floor level and a green marble column on the northwest corner.
The Atkinson Building is a contributing property within the Champaign Downtown Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020. Today the building is used as professional office space.

The Sandia Mountains, are a mountain range located in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, immediately to the east of the city of Albuquerque in New Mexico and part of the range is protected as the Sandia Mountain Wilderness. Its highest point is Sandia Crest, 10,678 feet (3,255 m).
If you want walk the entire spine of the Sandia Mountains it's 26 mile hike with over 4,000 feet in elevation gain. There are two easy ways to reach the top of the Sandias.
There are many hiking trails to take you to the top of the mountain and to the ski slope but the two easiest are The Sandia Peak Tramway which ascends from the west side to a point on the crestline about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south of Sandia Crest or by road (NM 536) from the east provides access to the bottom of the ski area and also to the Sandia Crest.

The view of Shandon Bells & Tower, St Anne's Church as seen from Audley Place / Bell’s Field in Cork, Ireland. The tower which has a clock on each side is known locally as ‘The four faced liar’ as the four clocks on the tower don’t always tell the same time.

Xian Gong Hill is in Guilin, China. It overlooks the Li River and affords an excellent view of the Li River as it weaves its way among the karst mountain range.

Taipei is a basin and there are low mountains around it. This is shot from the south during blue hour. I do love this angle since the river curves as residential area along.

Taipei has been very hot recently. Hiking and shooting on the mountain was a tough task indeed. I went shooting this Wednesday and sweated too much almost to be dehydrated. Be careful you all too.
週三沒出景，我卻爬山上去中埔山，天氣太熱，流了太多汗，幾乎要脫水，天氣熱，衝景一定要注意多喝水啊！

The last fuel was dispensed at Sprague's Super Service in 1971, and the pumps were removed in 1979. Nevertheless, I couldn't resist parking my car next to the replica Cities Service pumps now in front of the building. Cities Service fuel, once sold by Sprague's, eventually became known as Citgo.
Sprague's Super Service was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008, is a Town of Normal Local Landmark, and is in the Route 66 Association of Illinois Hall of Fame. Since 2016, the building has been owned by the Town of Normal. Rayburn's Place, a gift shop featuring Route 66 vintage collectibles and works by local artists, occupies the ground floor.
Normal is the smaller of two principal municipalities of the Bloomington-Normal metropolitan area. Located in McLean County in Central Illinois, the estimated population of Normal in 2019 was 54,469, with a metro population of 191,067.

Da primitiva igreja dedicada a S. Gião ou Julião, datada da segunda metade do século XIII e atribuída pela tradição ao empenho dos pescadores locais (PORTELA, M. Maria, 1882), apenas se sabe que esteve ligada através de uma tribuna aos paços contíguos de D. Jorge de Lencastre, Duque de Aveiro e Coimbra e Mestre da Ordem de Santiago, funcionando quase como sua capela privativa, até c. 1510. Em 1513 determina D. Manuel a ampliação desta igreja, bem como da igreja de Santa Maria da Graça, ambas paroquiais, obra a ser paga em parte pela população local, embora no caso presente o Mestre de Santiago tenha contribuído com 500$000 réis para os trabalhos.
A ampliação veio a revelar-se de facto uma reconstrução total, não sem terem surgido vários imprevistos: durante os trabalhos deu-se a derrocada de uma nave, e houve necessidade de rebaixar outra (SILVA, J. Custódio Vieira, 1990, p. 70). O templo manuelino assim erguido sofreu por sua vez os efeitos do terramoto de 1531, não completamente conhecidos, mas que terão conduzido à segunda reconstrução do edifício, terminada por volta de 1570; alterada já boa parte da sua feição original, veio ainda a conhecer nova e extensa destruição aquando do cataclismo de 1755. É já no reinado de D. Maria que a igreja é reconstruída, pouco conservando hoje do templo quinhentista, à excepção dos dois portais manuelinos (o principal, a Ocidente, e o portal Norte), bem como a estreita porta que dá acesso à torre sineira.
