Family-friendly event. The French tradition continues with the 5th Annual Sacramento Bastille Day Festival and Waiters' Race. Event sponsors included: the Handle District, Sactown Magazine, Midtown Business Association, 1801 L, The Sacramento French Film Festival, Alliance Francaise, and Yelp.
The activities included such events as a waiters' water race (with cash prizes), children's race, music, food, and beverages. I especially liked the food and drink samples.

There are no words to desribe the happiness on the faces of local handicapped people when local celebrity Bob Brolly takes an interest in them. And take an interest he does at every opportunity which is why he is honoured with the letters MBE because he takes an interest. Visit one of his shows and no-one is left out, he talks to, shakes hands with and poses for photographs with everyone. The likeable Irishman is brilliant with the people. He has raised over £2 million pounds for charities in and around Coventry.
