The 'cash prize' for my Bathcamp 08 'tub quiz'.

A page about my brand new niece who we met last night! It's a treat to use pink since I don't usually get to as the mom of two boys.

This is the area in which the loads of trash are hauled from the bottom of the ravine to the road.

Taken through a tiny crack in the metal loading dock door.

This one was easy as felt no threat of being arrested. The business backs right up to the West Cambridge Trail.

The trucks pull right up onto the trail and sometimes make big ruts in it. We have had to scrape out the drainage ditch a couple of times so water drains off track after rains.

This place is a family owned-business and been in Greenwood for years. I lived on the same street for a few years where the old folks had their home. Their home was right across the street to Lander U. entrance.

These large loads that were barged up the Columbia and Snake Rivers to Lewiston, Idaho with a further destination of Billings, Montana have been stopped by the courts now pending appeal. If approved there could be an additional 70 of these large loads with a destination to Alberta, Canada. These loads take up two complete lanes of highway and can be as tall as 30 feet. All very in weight but are extremely heavy. Many feel that these loads could destroy our scenic high ways and destroy our bridges. Also concerned is if there are breakdowns some of the people who live along these highways would not be able to get to hospitals or to work.

One of these two little load cells is going to be the heart of a working car scale, either on the layout or on a module of some kind.
