This is the first camera to electrically transmit the aperture to the camera's light meter. The M42 lenses for the camera have electrical contacts at the back, like modern lenses, but only three. Almost all lenses for this camera and its successors have an 'electric' in their designation.
The picture shows a Meyer Görlitz Oreston with electrics, which does not yet have 'electric' in the name. The lens was later called the 'Pentacon electric 1.8/50'.

Het grootste deel van het tramvervoer in Lviv wikkelt Lvivelectrotrans af met Tatra KT4D's, voornamelijk afkomstig uit Berlijn, Gera en Erfurt. De 1162, die op 17 december 2024 als lijn 4 van Vernadskoho St naar Zaliznychnyi vokzal aan de halte Kropyvnytskoho Square een stop maakte, begon zijn leven in 1987 in Gera.

- The Fleetmaster was in fact a "prewar" Chevrolet Special Deluxe.
- It has a three-speed manual gearbox (second and third synchronized), vacuum assisted column steering shifter, a Carter single downdraft carburettor, a Delco 6-Volts electric system, distributor and coil ignition system, a 9.125 inch single dry plate “driven” disc clutch, a 61 liter fuel tank and rear wheel drive.
- The GM A platform chassis with steel body (by Fisher) has a 116 inch wheelbase, worm & roller steering, single exhaust system, plush upholstery, twin sun visors, a metal dashboard with a simulated burle woodgrain, wood-grained window sills and armrests in the front seats, an ash tray in the right side of the dash, a clock (a manual-wind 7-day type), independent coil spring front suspension with wishbones and hydraulic dampers, semi-elliptic leaf spring rear suspension, a semi-floating type rear axle, hypoid differential and 11 inch hydraulic drum brakes all around.
- The 1946 Fleetmaster Series was Chevrolet's top trim level at the time and came in a variety of body styles including this 2-door Sport Coupé, the 2-door Convertible (4,508 units built), the 2-door Town Sedan (56,538 units built), the 4-door Sport Sedan (73,746 units built) and the 4-door Station Wagon (804 units built).
- This first generation Fleetmasters (1946-1948) were assembled in Oakland (California), in Tarrytown (New York), in Flint (Michigan), in Norwood (Ohio), in St. Louis (Missouri), in Arlington (Texas), in Oshawa (Ontario - Canada) and at General Motors-Holden's Ltd, Port Melbourne, Victoria - Australia.
- Two grades of radios, heater, defroster, fog lamps, spotlight, wheel trim rings, whitewall tires and a cowl-mounted windshield washer were optional.
