TogetherVCAN is a Mumbai-based NGO that is involved in numerous civic and social initiatives for the betterment of the citizens of Mumbai. Social Sanchar 5, was held on 20th October, 2015 at the Royal Bombay Yatch Club, Mumbai. The event aims to bring senior government officials closer to the people, from wherever they are. The guest was Shri Ahmed Javed IPS, Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, who took questions on issues related to citizen safety and ensuring that their rights are not violated. This was live streamed and questions came in via Skype Video, Twitter and SMS.

Social Media Week is a worldwide movement celebrating the manner in which Social Media brings together and benefits people, communities and business. It was a 5 day event and live streaming was done on all 5 days. One session, entitled Social Sanchar by the NGO VCAN, made use of the Skype call and Twitter integration. The on-stage moderators were shot using video cameras while the Skype participants used their webcam and the Twitter questions were picked out from the feed and presented along with the live stream (all in real time) using AB-Live.
