One drop of water, heading into the pool below. The ripples are from other drops that had just splashed down.
Theme: "A single drop"
Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you!
Droplet dripping from a syringe held by a third hand. Within the drop, part of striped wrapping paper in background.
Inspired by the theme this week for Macro Mondays. I wanted to redo this just now, but too many tries ;-)) Tired, but fun.

Water droplets on a magnetic clip. I took the photo while holding the clip with my left hand using a blue paper as a background.

Macro Mondays theme Liquid Droplets
Well done to everyone who managed to capture some awesome droplets! This was an exceptionally tough theme. It was all trial and error, mostly error... From hundreds of images taken there were only a handful of vaguely passable options and even of those all had issues. I would have had better results if I had used off camera flash but didn't have the time or energy to set it all up and I don't have a clamp to hold a water dropper which would have made things a lot easier (and my dropper was a rudimentary meat baster 😄).
Anyway I quite like the minimalism of this one.
Thank you for your views and comments, they are much appreciated.
Happy Macro Monday! 😊
For #MacroMondays and this week's theme #LiquidDroplets.
Happy Macro Monday!
Thanks for all your faves and comments everyone!
I really appreciate them!
Macro Mondays - theme: Liquid Droplets
Although short of time I couldn't get this very cool theme out of my head ... so at some point I finally gave in:
This is the result of an impromptu 'photo shooting' (handheld, without tripod or flash) in my mum's bathroom who I was visiting this weekend. I used the small shower head of the bathtub to create droplets. These are the drops that form after the water has been turned off.
This image is well under 7.5 cm. The little cyan nozzles are about 2 - 3 mm in diametre
Happy Macro Monday, everyone
I will be catching up tonight
For the Macro Mondays theme: Liquid droplets
This theme was definitely a challenge for me as I did this freehand with camera clicking in my dominant right hand and holding the spoon in my left hand all while trying to stay steady. I added the colourful background on my computer monitor and this shot was my most favourite because of the rainbow refraction in the waterdrop.
Thanks for your visit! Happy Macro Monday!
This week's Macro Monday's challenge was more difficult than I expected, especially because I was trying to catch the motion of the drop...
Complicado el enfoque a la velocidad que caían los chorretones de miel. El flaix, ese gran desconocido...
De fondo el ipad con una foto anterior de hace dos semanas.
Gracias por un momento, los favoritos o los comentarios. HMM
Water droplet on the spiral of some old LED fairy lights. Had a vague idea to get some droplets to run down the wire but it turned out that it was almost impossible to get any water to stick to it!
Suspended for a fraction of a second, this perfectly formed droplet is a moment of pure symmetry. It is weightless yet powerful, embodying the delicate balance between motion and stillness. A fleeting crystal ball, reflecting the world in microcosm before it vanishes.

The essence of any good photograph is catching the moment.....
After least twenty five attempts... This is the moment I liked the most.
Macro Mondays theme: liquid droplets
This task was not easy to do. I think I took a few hundred photos.
Thank you everyone for your kind comments and favs. All are greatly appreciated. HMM
Splashdown into a pool of water in a 1 cup measuring spoon
Theme: "Liquid Droplets"
Thank you for taking the time to view this photo, faves and comments from you are greatly appreciated.
I posted the setup for this here. My thinking was to have some way to dribble water into a plane of focus that I could count on and simultaneously set the size of the image. I focused on the template and managed to get the water to dribble down the plastic and drip off the edge as I was pressing the button on my remote trigger. It was then a matter of taking a few hundred shots as I was squeezing the plastic bottle. Needless to say, I had no idea what the droplets would look like as I was capturing the images other than viewing them on camera in order to check focus. The sky, the background and the refractive nature of water combined to create what you see. Enlarge the photo and check out the happy face in the middle. HMM and thanks for any views, faves, and comments.
Very tough assignment for me. Can't even begin to know how many shots I took throughout the house and yard! A real challenge, for sure! Cropped about as much as I could to meet the size requirements. If this isn't enough, no worries. So many interesting droplet shots from others in this group!
