MUA put lip gloss on and spooned on jelly crystals. The model said it was rather yummy. For the close up I used the Nikon 60mm Macro lens, shutter speed of 125s F/4.2 0 EV comp and ISO100. I manually set the white balance. I used one flash with a shoot through Umbrella on my left hand side, power was set to Manual X 1/8. On my right I have a 2m Scrim panel diffusing direct sun light.
Place: Liping, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province
Liping (黎平) is a small city in Guizhou with around 100,000 people in city proper and is surrounded by the average concrete buildings, but the historical city centre gives it soul. The historical centre basically consists of one street (Qiao street), with stone stairs on each end giving an incredible view over the centre, but there are many interesting side alleys and courtyards to visit. Houses in Qiao street and alleys were built during the Ming and Qing dynasties, but many houses played a role in the foundation of Communist China. During the famous Long March Mao Zedong visited the city in 1934, where he held a conference.

OK a little detail on this photo and the last uploaded photo.
As you have read I am in Viangchang Laos standing on a corner.
Street name: Boulevard Khouvieng
and Rue Mahosot, or some where close to mentioned streets ?
In the background of this photo you see what is a lot used by very poor vendors.
It is full of garbage and debris from a torn down building.
The lady in purple seems to be the boss of this lot and this man
was trying to impress her.
Apparently he used the wrong words and ended up walking away with a split lip. I wasn't fast enough to catch the upper cut from her left fist because like him I wasn't expecting it..;-0
So anyway life goes on and I have a gut feeling these two do this quite often.
Who knows maybe they are husband and wife ? ...;-)~

"White-lipped Frog" has a white upper lip and a brownish mask over its large ear drum, with finger and toe tips flattened and disc-shaped. This species ranges from south Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore to Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi and Borneo.
