Workflow

• rawtherapee v2.4 RC to "develop" RAW image. The image received more contrast, Color Boost, and Shadow and Highlight recovery.

• Photoshop CS2 (running through WINE v1.1.14) to adjust the contrast via a curves adjustment layer, increase the saturation slightly via curves in Lab mode, and finally apply smart sharpen.

• exiftool to copy the .ORF EXIF tags back into the final JPEG.

• kflickr to upload the JPEG to flickr.com.

• Linux Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex.

• Dell e1405 laptop with the 1.6Ghz Intel CoreDuo and 2.5GB RAM.

Saw this on my way to Blog World Expo 08. Delta has a slick networked setup in the plane featured on every chair. This setup let's you listen to music, watch TV, rent movies and play a networked trivia game.

I saw the systems booting up, and all these systems are running Linux.
