As dusk starts to set in and clouds begin to break, Freightliner 66416 leads a loaded liner towards the Midlands as it speeds through the wide open fields of East Anglia north of Ely. 66416 wears a rare "Powerhaul" livery, one of 7 applied to the Class 66's before Freightliner was acquired by Genesee and Wyoming in 2015.

67027 brings up the rear of the outward leg of the 0611 Reading to Paignton via Penzance monthly test train. 67023 was on the front. Don't know why the Skips get preference over the HST set, does anyone ?.
I have been trying to get this shot to work for a few weeks now, that being a shot with the two cruise liners in the frame and not just dots on the horizon.
The cruise line industry has taken a real hit during the Covid 19 Pandemic. To cut berthing costs liners have been dropping anchor up and down the south coast. We have had cruise liners here for weeks now. P&O cruise liners Ventura and Azura are the two at anchor in Labrador Bay.
