Time was, when garbage pickers were wretched souls who ventured out in the pre-dawn hours pushing a "borrowed" supermarket cart in which to stow their treasure. Times have changed.
I was just coming back to the house after picking up my mail when I heard a vehicle pulling up behind me. I didn't recognize it and I thought I would just check on it after I got indoors. I was surprised to find that the driver was garbage picking. I have seen people riding quite expensive mountain bikes to cover the area, but this is the first garbage picker I have seen who collects her harvest courtesy of a Lincoln Navigator. I couldn't resist taking the shot. The light burst was a bonus :)

Hazzard Range County sheriff's office Lieutenant Dolly King took a report of Suspicious people /activity in the 200 block of NM 168/Main st in Sparta . Cleared unfounded.
On this Wednesday May 25,2022 afternoon. We see county District 1 Commissioner Jeb Cox talking with a local resident outside of KRTK radio . He just got done with a radio interview with radio personality Shelby Potter . He is running uncontested in the June primary ,but in the fall he will have a contested race with Jean Diaz .
We also see Hazzard Range County Sheriff Troy Forbes unit , he inside the radio station taping a safety message for upcoming Memorial day weekend .Scene takes place in Sparta the county seat

The Lincoln Navigator is a full-size luxury SUV originally launched in 1997 and sold primarily in the US market.
The second generation launched in 2003, again sharing the platform of the 2003 Ford Expidition but continued to differ from it in terms of styling and various upscale features.. The redesign featured a revised exterior with only the front doors and roof panel unchanged from the previous generation The new exterior came with things such as a larger chrome waterfall grille, brighter quad-beam headlights with larger housings, revised chrome door handles set in color-keyed bezels, and slightly wider running boards. Inside the Navigator was an all-new instrument panel and dashboard not shared with its Ford sibling the instrument panel and dashboard area was adorned with real walnut burl wood inserts and panels and switches painted with a low-luster satin nickel color. Adding to the upscale interior design were120 white LEDs, providing backlighting for controls and switches. Due to changes brought with the redesign, the Navigator's base curb weight increased to 5,760 lb in 2WD models and almost 6,000 for the 4WD variants.
the 5.4 L DOHC V8 introduced in the 1999 model year was replaced by the same 5.4 L 3-valve SOHC V8 producing 300bhp he 4R75W 4-speed automatic transmission used from 2003 until 2004 was replaced with a new ZF-sourced 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2005 Navigator's base curb weight fell to 5,555 lb (2,520 kg) while four-wheel drive models dropped to 5,842 lb (2,650 kg).

Randy is son of Russell and Molly Hays who are co owner with him of Hazzard Range sand and gravel . Russell and Molly have 3 kids , Junior ( who is a county sheriff's office Sergeant /investigator ) Randy and a daughter Ashley. The company has been own by the Hays Family since 1918 and besides Sand and gravel ,they also own a Zeolite mine.
