Artist Statement:
The Hold Room is an impression of containment. Inspired by liminal institutional spaces clinics, detainment areas, basement corridors the piece represents a moment suspended between memory and physicality. The ghostlike figure in the back is not a person but a residue of waiting, of routine surveillance, of being watched and forgotten at once.
The perspective slips. The floor disorients. The light never lands where it should. This is a space that denies presence while forcing you to stay.
This is not about escape. It’s about the architecture of delay.

In Threshold Logic, I explore the paradox of passage how corridors promise destination yet rarely deliver. This piece is about the loop of arrival: how we walk toward meaning, only to find another hallway.
The harsh overheads and fractured beams of light simulate interrogation, surveillance, perhaps even hope. The concrete walls wear time like a wet cloth, and the path ahead remains always partly lit never fully known.
This is an architectural séance a conversation with the unseen, staged in the geometry of control.

He walks the in-between place—
not quite street, not quite building.
A corridor where every door could open,
but none do.
Only the echo of his footsteps
knows how far he’s come—
or how close he is to turning back.
Artist Process:
I focused on capturing a moment of suspended movement—one figure stepping deeper into a space that feels simultaneously institutional and dreamlike. The yellow door panels form a rhythm along the walls, evoking order and anonymity, while the solitary figure invites a question: is he arriving, or escaping? The damp cobblestones reflect the overhead lamp with eerie clarity, lending a painterly softness to the corridor’s sharp geometry. This piece is about liminal moments, decisions not yet spoken, and the architecture of pause.

Artist Statement:
This is the place between wanting and acting.
The floor is still wet from the last storm,
but the way forward has opened.
He doesn’t move.
Sometimes standing still is a louder scream than running.

Artist Statement:
There’s a window, but no reason to climb.
We speak a lot about moving forward, about progress, but rarely of waiting.
Waiting is underrated.
This piece is about what it means to not yet decide — and to be okay with that.

Artist Statement:
The stairs once led somewhere.
Not everyone remembers where.
Some still climb. Some stare.
And some — like her — wait at the border
between structure and surrender.
Above her, time has written its own instructions.
Below her, the doors remain locked.
She listens to the dust settle before deciding.

Artist Statement:
The body is paused — but the light keeps climbing.
This piece holds its breath at the edge of motion.
We do not see what waits above.
Only the pull — the silence before ascent.
Shot through with grain like static in memory, the frame captures the limbo between what was and what might be.

We walk toward what we do not name.
I built these towers with my silence.
They do not ask me to explain myself.
Only to enter.
This image is not about arrival.
It is about the fact that you came at all.

“Ascent into Rot”
The staircase rises, not with hope — but with pressure. This piece confronts the illusion of escape in systems designed to trap. The colors clash: decay and dream, rebirth and surveillance.
The viewer is forced into the role of participant — they must climb, even if they don’t want to.
Are you ascending toward light or delusion?

“Ascent Protocol”
In a ruined structure of uncertain origin, a synthetic guardian climbs toward illumination while a crystalline remnant sits in permanent repose below. This work explores ascension as a false salvation — a climb not toward redemption, but repetition. The preservation of form doesn’t guarantee the survival of meaning.

“Depth Protocol: Corridor 9”
They don’t remember what used to be here—only that it must be traversed. Suspended between pressure and silence, this corridor is no longer a passage but a sentence. The uniform protects the body. Nothing protects the soul. This is the work. This is the way forward.

When memory fractures, it doesn’t shatter—it flies.
This figure is not trapped in a room but in a pattern,
pacing toward a freedom that may only exist on the other side of glass.

that refuses to stay silent.

“Legacy Object No. 3: Corridor of Abandonment”
A modern intrusion fractures the sacred geometry of a once-grand corridor. Two linear objects—neither torch nor weapon—divide the frame, like punctuation in a dying sentence. Light is both the aggressor and the archivist, flooding decay with memory. The figure, cast in partial shadow, becomes witness, not savior.
