November Lily macro.
November lilies are known in different common names in different parts of the world. They are also called as Christmas lilies, Easter lilies, white trumpet lily, etc.
Have a good one
These are probably the largest lilies that I've come across. There were a few stems of these growing in a local park's garden this past summer.
Thank you for your views and comments, they're so appreciated! Have a great day!
At the moment it's snowing outside, the first snow of the season, boo hoo! You know what? I'd much rather be seeing pretty lilies any day of the week. Lightly edited in Topaz Studio 2. HSS!

Due to the sudden surge of comments and faves, I may have missed yours, my sincere apologies. But thanks everyone, for your support
For Sliders Sunday, I kept it simple by only adding a texture in Topaz Studio 2. I hope you enjoy! HSS!
Thank you for your views and comments, much appreciated! Have a wonderful day!
I know most of you seem to prefer the coloured version when I post both, but the B&W is for my 365 project, which I have decided to do entirely in B&W (apart from one blue one...) - it is a challenge to get the conversion looking just so!! I am enjoying myself with this project! 365project.org/peterscherub2/365
Happy Sunday!
I hope you like this shot!
Reminder for TWB-Group (www.flickr.com/groups/twb-sundays/) members...
I couldn't help but think that this cluster of bright lilies looked somewhat like a mountain. )0: Happy Monday!
Thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving me a comment. Have a great day and new week!
The Water Lilies are so beautiful, I just love the way they float on top of the water. Picture taken at the Florida Zoo.
Lilium (members of which are true lilies) is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants growing from bulbs, all with large prominent flowers.
The flowers are large, often fragrant, and come in a wide range of colors including whites, yellows, oranges, pinks, reds and purples. Markings include spots and brush strokes. The plants are late spring- or summer-flowering. Flowers are borne in racemes or umbels at the tip of the stem, with six tepals spreading or reflexed, to give flowers varying from funnel shape to a "Turk's cap".

Lily center was taken a while ago. You can see the pollen in the anthers and the pistil is sticky so pollen will stick to it.
