Muscicapa striata

These guys were just finishing their go-away song and dance, aimed at the other gulls around. I think they look so cute doing that! But I missed the real action and ended up lifting the images from darkness, having just reduced all means of light exposure - due to the strong sunshine to the east. An essential part of photography fun!

A tale of two weather systems in this shot I took the other day. In one hand just out of shot in the right hand side you have a strong low sun breaking through clouds. The sun is beautifully lighting the wild beach grass and then on the other side directly in front is the a heavy rain storm moving in. I literally made it back to my car just as it began. But I loved the sense of being caught in between the two extremes.

Diese süsse kleine Kapelle steht genau neben dem Schloss Linderhof. Wenn die Bäume ihr volles Blättergewand tragen ist es leicht möglich sie zu übersehen. Allerdings entdeckt man sie im Frühling leichter.

This sweet little chapel stands right next to the Linderhof Palace. When the trees bear their full leaves, it is possible to overlook it. However, it is easier to detect in spring.
