I remember the Vitruvian man fascinating and disturbing me as a child during the opening credits for World in action. I'm always looking for symmetrical features to sit in the middle of my camera rotation shots and he stands perfectly. I hope da Vinci would be happy with this futuristic version of the Vitruvian man.

Firstly I surrounded the man with a partial ball in an app I have on my phone. Transferred the image to my tablet and framed him so he lay dead centre. Next zoomed in and framed for both of the beam parts. The green then the white and red. Next framed and focused for the camera rotation part and lastly for the pcb.

Tested out exposure and placement for all the components and lights off.

Exposed the PCB backlit with my tablet for 8 seconds and cap on and moved the board. zoomed out to 17mm and re focused for the ball containing Vitruvious and exposed for 2 seconds. Cap on Zoomed back to 50mm, changed the images on the tablet to the beams and exposed those for three seconds each. Cap on. Lastly back to 17mm and focused for the rotate part which was my usual green and red Perspex with some spirals of rainbow paper. A single burst of snooted flash camera left on 1/128 power for every 30 degrees of rotate.

That was number 26 of my 365.

Blood sky version. Shot the same as the previous one but 2nd half of the double pointing in a different portion of the sky. I can only imagine there was more light pollution in this direction.

I didn't shoot this with the name or idea in my head. It only came to me whilst reviewing tonights shots. There is a phenomenon in a particular species of ants whereby a fungus uses the ant as a host. Its named Ophiocordyceps Unilateralis. Also known as Zombie Fungus. The great David Attenborough brought it to my attention and it fascinates me. The fungus makes the ant move to the forest floor where it is more humid which aids the fungal growth. The ant will then attach itself to a leaf where it goes through a wonderfully macabre transformation where stroma (fruiting bodies) bursts from the ants head.

This one was a right bugger to pull off. Framed and focused for me and worked out the best lighting. Set up the tablet on my light stand with the synapse image which I had edited to accommodate my head.

Opened the shutter and exposed the tablet for just under 2 seconds and cap on. Tablet out of sight and 're framed and focused for my head. cap off and took up position. Fired my flash using the radio trigger whilst I popped my torch under my chin to eradicate the shadows.

Shot with my fave cwb with shadows and contrast boosted other than that sooc.

This is number 86 of my 365.

Fake inter dimensional rainbow paper silhouette table faffing.

Usual nocturnal routine; Mrs in the front room watching what can only be described as dog arse on tv whilst I shine lights at things in the kitchen whilst rotating my camera through the axis of its lens at twenty degree increments during a long exposure.

A small section of ruins that sit behind the main Abbey which I spent a large chunk of last night at. Not too many people mooching about. This is a sizeable crop which has had me thinking more about composition. I have about 5 shots from the same pov and I need to start mixing it up a little to get the most from my evenings faffing.

Lit behind the pillar with my Yongnuo on full power gelled blue. Span my orb and then lit the column with my torch.

Straight out the camera bar a massive crop.
