Impressive vehicles in the Stadtbus Winterthur fleet in Switzerland are a batch of three-piece Hess lighTram trolleybuses that are 25m long. The rear axle steers and the second and third sections seem to follow the front very well. They work alongside smaller 18/19m trolleybuses in the city. Here bus 401 is seen in front of the Hauptbahhof while working a route 1 journey to Toss.
Nun hat auch in Zürich der Batteriebus Einzug gehalten. Nach 4 LionsCity 18E kommen nun 8 Hess LighTram 10Opp (oder wie die genannt werden) zum Einsatz. Diesen folgen 15 MAN LionsCity 12E und weitere 21 LC18E. Wir werden sehen, begeistert bin ich bisher nicht.
