OK...Here's the thing. I live in north Texas. There is a huge flock of sea gulls in south Garland. They have blown up here from the beaches of Gulf of Mexico via many hurricanes. They have several area lakes they home in on, mostly Lake Ray Hubbard, in south Garland. But once you get into the Mesquite/Garland area, you may see them anywhere. I snapped a few really BAD shots while I was waiting for a friend to meet me for lunch. They were perched on the light fixtures out in the Mall parking lot.
I need a better zoom lens. I love all birds, but I especially love gulls and pigeons.

Movie night at the old Orchestra Hall in Lakeside, the charming summer resort with only a handful of year-round residents. The pizza parlor was open, so we had dinner there before the move. There were nine people in the audience -- a big crowd for a Friday night in November.
This wood pecker appeared at the bird feeder the other day, which is fine. When I saw him on the side of the garage hammering away at the siding I was less than amused!
The George Eastman house is poorly lit. Ironic, given that Kodak's not really known for low-light photography.
