This light fitting was in a rather large and elegant old home (supposedly haunted)...I personally didn't get any bad vibes in there. The house had many lovely architectural features including gorgeous bay windows and classic doors. It has apparently been looted a few times, but still amongst the debris and decay there are still remnants of the past that remain untouched.
For the non soft version view in lightbox...Will flickr ever sort this out?

Decades ago, almost any gas station you went to had these outdoor fluorescent light fixtures. There are still a lot of them all over town but hardly any of them work. This one is located at the intersection of 70th St. @ Line Ave. in Shreveport Louisiana at a restaurant that was formerly a gas station.

Saw some unusual street lights and took this shot straight up above me. These lamps were quite unusual and not common in the downtown area; this was a residential street in Vancouver.
First of all, I want to thank everyone who commented on my pic yesterday and also those who sent me e-mails, too. You are from all different backgrounds, I appreciate your perspectives. 9/11 is a difficult day for most.
So today, I wish you a good Sunday. It's a new blank canvas. May you enjoy your day and discover everything your heart desires. . .
