Production days for the Portugal. the Man music video I just directed. A two day shoot, each about 14 hours. Two red cameras, and lots of good attitudes. We had a blast, and should be done around the end of June.

Taken at the American History Museum in Washington D.C.

Chandelier at Pappadeaux with mardi gras beads.

Cardboard paper towel tube held over my camera lens and pointed at a lightbulb. This tube was much shorter than the previous one. The spiral is a lot looser. There are also noticeable cardboard slubs in the tube. The dark marks around the center are the spots where the edge of the tube was slightly crumpled. Probably from being played with by Olivia.

They remind me of this installation that grijs linked to a long time ago - its very close, perhaps it's the same same creator?

It has been raining for days on end, but this lightbulb is still smiling down at us..

These things are HUGE, probably about 10-12 inches tall. Very cool!
