I've felt so much love this year.

 

It's been overflowin'.

 

Sometimes I fall asleep thinkin' that I'm the luckiest man alive.

 

I feel it with my kids.

 

I feel it with my family.

 

I feel it with my friends.

 

I feel it on the streets when I shoot people I don't even know.

 

I feel it here with you.

 

I never knew there was so much love in the world.

 

I feel it every day.

 

I feel it because there's little conflict in my life these days.

 

I feel it because I appreciate it.

 

Feelin' all that love has changed me.

 

I don't need to explain it.

 

You gotta know what that would do.

 

I feel so much of it I'm driven to share it.

 

I want everyone to feel it.

 

I want everyone to see it and appreciate it.

 

It's out there.

 

It's all over the place.

 

I hope you've been feelin' it as much as I have.

 

I hope it's all wrapped around you right now as we prepare to start a new year.

 

You've been such a big part of it.

 

You've helped me to open my eyes.

 

You've encouraged me.

 

You've been there for all of it.

The beginning of May marks the beginning of Summer in the Irish calendar, a cycle split into 4 parts, led largely by cross-quarter Sabbat holidays celebrated halfway between the Equinox & Solstice. Bealtaine, anglicised Beltane, is a pre-Celtic & Celtic festival that honours the return {to the Northern Hemisphere} of the Sun & all things it represents ~ ! Yet, holidays of waxing creative-fire exist in every indigenous spirituality around the world; & Bealtaine, itself, is a holiday of pan-European Celts.

There is a beautiful Christmas Hymn with the following words written by Christina Rossetti (now in the Public Domain)

 

"Love came down at Christmas,

star and angels gave the sign.

I was looking for a photo that said "Light and Love" to me and this is what popped up in my search of my p[hotostream. It's a favorite Hallmark "Light and Motion" Ornament - - - about 20 years old, I think.
