hard to tell

after a month of drawing so consistently from life

i am having trouble finding my "abstract" voice

it feels too light

it feels too formula

and

it feels ungrounded

i am continuing to draw at least one self portrait a day

they are getting a lot looser

while i was away, i didn't do these self portraits for the life(s) lesson(s) journal

i tried substituting some from april

that i felt were significant, but the continuity was off
