today, i started thinking about how the fall semester of college is going to creep up on me and i'll have nothing done. i haven't been enrolled in college since right after high school (2007), which is sad.. considering pregnantbrain has me clueless on what to even do next. i called and talked to them, and was actually formally a Vanover when i logged in online (last time I logged in 2 months ago, it still said Cotton).. anyway
all I really have to do now is talk to an advisor and get my classes set up/get enrolled. fafsa should all be in order (or one could hope) and yadda yadda. i'm not sure when i'll get down there to actually enroll and talk to an advisor but i need to make an appointment. :| i'm such a procrastinator.
i looked back over the program i'm going back to enroll into: surgical technology, and have actually made a few career/life decisions in just a matter of minutes. i think it's what's best for me and the babies though. oh.. and sean.. can't forget sean.
conversation tidbit:
me: i think after i get my schooling done with, i'm going to move to henderson (like my best friend, candice) and try to get on at a better paying, better hospital up there toward evansville
sean: and what the hell am I supposed to do for work in evansville? that's too far of a drive for what i do
me: well it looks like you have a year/year and a half to figure it out, huh
i hate to be like that.. but he's either going to have to progress up in his company or find a different profession. i hate it, too, that i've had to be the one to make that decision because regardless of what he wants, i want, or what we want.. it's time to settle it down, stop acting crazy and buy a house. a good job that i will be certified for.. yeah, that sounds good to me. about 4x more than what i make now will help us out a lot financially and be a lot better for the kids, too. give him some time to either straighten himself up... or our marriage decide to part ways.

It's amazing how quickly the rug can be pulled from underneath your feet and your whole life has changed. I don't even know where to start right now. The only things keeping me going are my pets :-(

The last event before school starts. Abby had been asking to do Build-A-Bear for a while. We brought her to the mall the evening before school started for our final event ot the summer.
Our summer has been great. I'm not sure we are ready for the lifechange that school brings but ready or not, here we come.
