My neighborhood squirrels are wicked friendly. I can't help but photograph them when they come over by me as it only seems right. This little guy was especially friendly...at one point he was so close I could have bent down and touched him. But, being that I can't image being attacked by a squirrel would be a good time, I kept my hands to myself.

I had this thought while observing the kids visiting Young's Dairy Farm today: yes, it's true they are fresh-faced and idealistic in a way I will never be again - but every single one of them would have happily traded places with me, because I was the one eating ice cream at 10:30 in the morning.
just remember, when you were little you couldn't wait to be a grown-up, because then you'd be able to do whatever you want. now that you are, don't forget to do whatever you want.
