Eine Internetseite ist rasch erstellt, ein wenig Text da, ein Bild dort und schon hat man seinen Betrieb im Internet, das vielleicht noch mit einer „Free-Domain“ und einer „kostenlosen“ E-Mailadresse, damit die Homepage auch nichts kostet!
–>Der falsche Weg
Eine Homepage ist die digitale Visitenkarte im Internet und ist eine Homepage visuell nicht ansprechend, dann gehen viele Kunden davon aus, dass das Unternehmen mit Ihren Leistungen auch nicht das hält was es verspricht.
–>Unternehmensdomain mit entsprechender E-Mailendung
Der erste Schritt zur eigenen Homepage ist die Findung eines entsprechenden Domainnames (www.limar.at) und damit verbunden die Einrichtung einer E-Mailadresse lautend auf diese Domain wie zum Beispiel office@limar.at. Alleine diese Schritte steigern die Seriosität des Unternehmens, hinzu kommt dann das entsprechende Design sowie der Aufbau der Homepage und das am Zahn der Zeit.
Das ist meistens mit „billigen“ oder „kostenlosen“ Lösungen nicht möglich oder erfordern eine Einarbeitungszeit bzw. Kenntnisse in diesem Bereich!
Anbieter wie WordPress oder Joomla vereinfachen den Einstieg ins Webdesign, doch ohne grundlegende Kenntnisse ist man vom Ziel, einer visuell ansprechenden Homepage weit entfernt.
–>Updates und laufende Wartung
Es hilft die schönste und tollste Homepage nichts, wenn sie nicht laufend gewartet und mit Neuigkeiten, Fotos oder Videos bestückt wird bzw. wenn auf der Homepage alte Daten zu finden sind, z.B.: der Menüplan von vor einem Jahr oder die Preisliste der Winterreifen vor drei Jahren. Aktualität ist nicht nur im Bereich des Social-Media wichtig, auch auf der eigenen Unternehmenshomepage.
–>Gefunden werden bei Google, Bing und Co.
Die Homepage ist Online und jetzt muss sie „nur mehr“ in den Suchmaschinen gefunden werden. Auch wenn die Suchmaschinen laufend das Internet nach neuen Websiten durchsuchen vergeht meistens einiges an Zeit, bis die Homepage auch richtig gefunden wird. Damit man mit den gewünschten Suchbegriffen gefunden wird, hilft nur eine umfangreiche Suchmaschinenoptimierung und das wiederum ist viel Zeitaufwand damit es auch wirklich gelingt.
