ila Bank grants its May Al Kanz winner a lifechanging US$50,000 cash prize
Manama, Bahrain: ila Bank, the fastest growing digital mobile-only bank in the region, grants its May Al Kanz winner, Sara Khalifa Al Hussaini, a lifechanging cash prize of US$50,000. The winner was notified verbally following an automated draw held under the supervision of representatives from the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Bank ABC, ila Bank and Ernst & Young.
Commenting on Sara’s behalf at the prize-handover celebration held at ila Bank, her sister Muna Al Hussaini said: “I was thrilled and at the same time quite surprised to hear this news. Sara really deserves to win this prize. She has been through a lot in her life, but always with a lovely smile on her face. The money will be used to help her live comfortably and fulfil all her needs. “
“Since opening an ila Bank account, Sara has been depositing all her savings into Al Kanz. The prize money will be maintained in her Al Kanz account and hopefully she will win again. My family and I love ila’s products and services and wouldn’t change a thing about our experience so far. “
Coming up next, the June Al Kanz prize of US120,000, paid as a US$10,000 monthly salary for one year, will be announced on August 4th, 2022. Participation towards the July prize of US$50,000 is open until July 31st, 2022.

These Photo's are from my Peace Corps experience in Luapula Province, Zambia.
These are closeups of the front of my hut. Top left, my stoop, Top right building my Blackboard, Bottom - finished product.
I started at the Croton Dam in Newaygo county. I hiked four weeks starting July 7th all the way to the Mackinaw Bridge. It was a very life changing experience and I cannot wait to continue next year. I have uploaded more pictures on the NCT Facebook.

today, i started thinking about how the fall semester of college is going to creep up on me and i'll have nothing done. i haven't been enrolled in college since right after high school (2007), which is sad.. considering pregnantbrain has me clueless on what to even do next. i called and talked to them, and was actually formally a Vanover when i logged in online (last time I logged in 2 months ago, it still said Cotton).. anyway
all I really have to do now is talk to an advisor and get my classes set up/get enrolled. fafsa should all be in order (or one could hope) and yadda yadda. i'm not sure when i'll get down there to actually enroll and talk to an advisor but i need to make an appointment. :| i'm such a procrastinator.
i looked back over the program i'm going back to enroll into: surgical technology, and have actually made a few career/life decisions in just a matter of minutes. i think it's what's best for me and the babies though. oh.. and sean.. can't forget sean.
conversation tidbit:
me: i think after i get my schooling done with, i'm going to move to henderson (like my best friend, candice) and try to get on at a better paying, better hospital up there toward evansville
sean: and what the hell am I supposed to do for work in evansville? that's too far of a drive for what i do
me: well it looks like you have a year/year and a half to figure it out, huh
i hate to be like that.. but he's either going to have to progress up in his company or find a different profession. i hate it, too, that i've had to be the one to make that decision because regardless of what he wants, i want, or what we want.. it's time to settle it down, stop acting crazy and buy a house. a good job that i will be certified for.. yeah, that sounds good to me. about 4x more than what i make now will help us out a lot financially and be a lot better for the kids, too. give him some time to either straighten himself up... or our marriage decide to part ways.
