Just whilst I'm on the subject of devoted husbands...and wives of course. It was lovely to witness the protective care this gentleman gave to his slightly less able wife. A lovely bond seemed to exist between them and I feel really and truly treasured by my husband too despite the vast differences in our upbringings and education etc ect... and are so happy together and are rarely apart for more than an hour in any given day.....

In this day of Siri and Google and the whole world-wide web, it's easy to forget the days when we used to *wish* we could call "Information" and get answers to our questions about life and love..
So many references to the way we used to communicate are so utterly mysterious to young people already. They have no idea who "Information" was or why you would call them.
And they certainly have no idea the hell we put them through with prank calls before that dang Caller ID thing spoiled all the fun..

my 2 cents: I think this is a very, very good thing. It's a civil rights issue and everyone should be treated fairly.

Sometimes it takes a challenge to test our strength - my challenge was this zipline adventure - of course, I have had some challenges this past year - and in each one I have found that I have more courage and strength then I had ever realized. But I had help on this and on so many of the challenges that I have had to face this past year. Because even though my Jeffrey is not with me in living form he is still with me in spirt and for that I am so very thankful. He helped me to cross this bridge and the many others that I have faced this past year without him. I know in my heart that he will continue to guide me and support me when I need it. And as I face the next challenges in my life (getting the house sold - finding a new place to live - career choices - maybe even a new love in my life) I will gather the strength to face them and to walk across those bridges with his spirit by my side.
Here's to good memories of time spend with Jeff -
