... Winter 1944 - in a hangar at RAF Wendling in Norfolk, 'Dugan' awaits its next mission over Germany, in an attempt to disrupt the German offensive in the Ardennes.
In reality, this particular B24M, 44-51228, was built by Ford at the huge Willow Run plant in Michigan, one of the last of its series, and never saw active service in the Second World War. It was acquired by the IWM in 1999, given Dugan's livery, and is now on display in the American Air Museum, Duxford.

Mass produced from recycled parts, the Liberator SMG is the choice weapon for the infantry of the Martian People's Revolution. The Liberator is dirt cheap to produce and operate.

Performing a fly past of the tower at RAF Lakenheath on its first flight. After this it went for a ride through the Mach Loop then continued to RAF Fairford for static display at RIAT 2022.

A substantial amount of wreckage still remains of a B24J Liberator aircraft which crashed here on Mill Hill near Glossop on 11 October 1944. Fortunately both crew members survived with relatively minor injuries. Two of the aircraft’s four R-2800 Twin Wasp engines can be seen here.

It is almost unfair just how accessible Wedge Pond and it's beauty are. Moving slowly from the parking lot it might take 2 minutes to see it. But if you don't know where it is, one could just as easily drive by and miss it's Fall splendor.
It really delivered on this day, the colors were magnificent and the reflections just amazing. The weather was dissapointing for a shot that would include the sky since it was overcast, but that meant strong color and a lack of shadows. So never mind the sky, just trees and pond allowed.
It is very peaceful with few people other than fortunate photographers and therefore equally quiet. I find the calming nature of the place liberating because there is a release of tension.
Major General Richard Rohmer, 101 years old, receives a symbolic flower from a bystander during the streetparade in Apeldoorn. He is a veteran of D-day, Normandy and the liberation of the Netherlands. A true hero!

When in Rome....Sandy Point and the Shoal Lighthouse is always the same, but at the same time, never the same.
You can tell by the water that this was a LE, however, on the original, the clouds barely moved. I ended up adding the cloud movement after the fact on a follow up edit.

Another build for the Kaliphlin Civil War challenge in Guilds of Historica. Here, the Desert King's forces liberate the Kalphlin capital, Petraea, from High Council occupation. This build had a maximum size limit of 48x48 studs.
Been working on this MOC for a good while in between the others I've build for this challenge. This is definitely my best MOC to date and one I had a ton of fun building. Thanks a ton for looking, feedback always appreciated!

The chilling testimony on the main gate at Saschsenhausen Concentration Camp, outside Berlin, Germany. This was truly an awful place and we were very subdued having spent half a day there.
I believe it is something everyone should do at some point in their lives.
Lest we should ever forget.
