Our second encounter with the delightful Dark Spreadwing came in Croatia, 2016, our first being on the Île d'Oléron. Oddly, we could find only one individiual.

Out at lunchtime in Milton Keynes: a somewhat aged female Ruddy Darter (Sympetrum sanguineum).

This one of a series of three attempts to capture this dragonfly in flight but i am afraid the results are not very good, does anyone have advice!!
